The Cryogenic Service of the IHSM La Mayora provides users with access to liquid nitrogen and training to work safely with it. to work with it in safe conditions.

Services and Rates

The service has technical staff to:

  • Train new users in the safety protocols that must be followed in the use and handling of liquid nitrogen.
  • Support users during the process of unloading liquid nitrogen.
  • Advice for users to adapt security protocols to the needs of their experimental line.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure safe use of the service.

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 (from 9:00 to 13:00 in July and August).

Rules of use:

  • Only users included in the "Authorised Users List" have access to the service.
  • To be included in this list, you have to take a driving course, given by the service manager.
  • Failure to comply with safety regulations results in exclusion from the "List of Authorised Users".
